Tips on Printing Coloring Pages ...

It's important to consider your printer:

Inkjet Printers use wet ink that smudges and runs.

Laser Printers use dry powder that doesn't smudge nor run but some models can only print in black. They can also be more expensive in terms of printing costs.

It's also important to consider your coloring implements:

Crayons, Color Pencils, Pastel, Color Markers won't smudge nor run inkjet printouts.

Water colors and Poster paints might ruin your inkjet printouts.

Lastly, your choice of paper will affect your children's coloring experience:

Ordinary Bond Paper is great for most purposes.

If you want to save your kids' work, Card Stock or thicker Oslo Paper will serve you well.

Some Friendly Reminders for your Coloring Sessions ...

If you have access to different printers, paper and coloring supplies, go ahead and experiment!

Be sure to check that your kids' crayons are non-toxic.

It's a good idea to have your child wear older clothes -- theirs or yours -- when they work with watercolors or poster paint. This way, any stains that won't wash out won't hurt as much.

Entertain your child with flamboyant use of colors, shadows, and highlights.

Cheerily teach your child about the objects in the pages that are unfamiliar to them.

Your coloring session with your child is your time to bond with him/her. Enjoy!
